The Competition Coupe and Competition Convertible models both get an additional 20 horsepower for a total output of 523. Both the front and rear illumination elements get fresh designs, the taillamps utilising laser diode technology inspired by the limited edition M4 CSL. The flat-bottomed steering wheel gets a new spoke design, while the infotainment runs on iDrive 8.5, BMW’s latest software version. Also on tap is a newly available forged light-alloy wheel design rendered in a bright silver finish. A new CS coupe model replaces the CSL in the lineup but pumps out 543 horsepower from a twin-turbo inline-six and has been stripped of 45 pounds worth of materials for a lighter curb weight.
