What’s New for Alpine A290 2026
The Alpine A290 is entering its first full production year in 2026 with a better “A290+” lineup (GT+, GT Performance+, and GTS+). This is possible because the French government gives money to electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers to make batteries in France, which decreases costs. The A290 Rallye variant is the best new feature. It’s a track-focused version with a mechanical limited-slip differential and better Brembo brakes for a more intense driving experience. The 2026 versions come with new Tricolore personalization packs and more color possibilities to show off their French origin. The primary features are still a 52 kWh battery and a characteristic 10-second “Overtake” boost button.
